An astringent is a substance that tends to shrink or constrict body tissues, usually locally after topical medicinal application.

Cassia auriculata

Relieves pain, diaphoretic, germicide, reduces fever, laxative, astringent, carminative, diuretic and stimulates the heart and liver.
