General Info

Description

An annual grass. Culms up to 90 cm. high, often tufted, with a very short rhizome, leafy from the base upwards; leaves two ranked, stiff and erect, 15-45 cm.x 2-8 mm.; inflorescence of two or more sessile alternate spikes.
