A shrub up to 12 ft. high. Bark shining grey, peeling off in papery flakes; leaves large, elliptic-lanceolate, variable, giving a foetid odour when crushed; flowers blue or white, fragrant, in terminal branched panicles; capsules ellipsoid. |
