An erect, smooth, branched, rank-smelling herb 0.3 to 0.8 meter in height. Leaves are 4 to 7 centimeters long and very deeply pinnatifid with linear-lanceolate segments. Heads are solitary, 1.5 to 2 centimeters in diameter, and borne on long peduncles, which are thickened upward; flowers are pale to deep yellow, and sometimes red. |
