Description |

A treelet that grows to a height of 6m. Bole is crooked, smooth, and the bark is dark green. Stems are spiny. Leaves are simple, spiral, and
exstipulate. Crushed leaves have a strong citrus odor. Blade is dotted with oil cells, acute, sharp, or minutely blunt-tipped. Flowers are white and minute, with a 4-lobed calyx and stamens which are free. Secondary nerves are inconspicuous. Fruits are pale yellow. |
